2003 RES Renewable Energy Systems GmbH was founded by Dr. Andreas Seebach with the focus on project development of biomethane facilities and the upgrading and feeding of biogas into the national gas network.

2007 RES was renamed bmp greengas GmbH and changed its business model to biomethane trading.

2009 bmp was awarded the Innovation Award of the German Energy Agency, Dr. Andreas Seebach worked as Managing Director until 2014.

During 2015 bmp implemented and sold 1.7 TWh of green energy.

2015 also heralded the founding of white energy GmbH, which held the majority ownership in bmp greengas GmbH.

In April 2017 bmp greengas was sold to a large utility company (EnBW Group)

white energy’s focus is not only in the field of biogas, but covers the entire spectrum of renewable energies - from discovery to development and ultimately integration into existing systems. white energy has the opportunity to implement projects independent of investors, banks, corporate groups and governments. Dr. Andreas Seebach is Managing Director of white energy.

As an entrepreneur Dr. Andreas Seebach has been active in the area of “renewable energy" for more than 13 years. He has been a pioneer regarding the upgrading and feeding of biogas into the German natural gas grid and enabling this technology to be used on an industrial scale. Besides biogas he was also intensively involved in the development and use of hydroelectric power. As co-investor and partner he founded the Wasserkraft Energie GmbH (WKE), where he worked as Managing Director.

With the founding of white energy GmbH in 2015 Dr. Andreas Seebach takes the next step on the path towards the "visionary, new energies”.
